This Payment & Refund Policy outlines the terms related to payments, refunds, and cancellations for products and services provided by Ducon Construction Chemical Industries Ltd. (“Ducon”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By placing an order or making a payment, you agree to the terms stated below.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payments through the following methods:

  • Bank transfer / cheque

  • Mobile financial services (bKash, Nagad, Rocket – where applicable)

  • Cash (subject to company policy)

All payments must be made in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Payment Terms

  • Orders are confirmed only after receiving advance payment or full payment, as stated in the official quotation or invoice.

  • Credit terms, if applicable, will be clearly mentioned in the invoice or written agreement.

  • Ducon reserves the right to suspend delivery or services for delayed or unpaid invoices.

  • Any bank charges or transaction fees shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise stated.

3. Pricing & Taxes

  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

  • All prices are exclusive of VAT and applicable government taxes unless stated otherwise.

  • VAT and taxes will be charged in accordance with Bangladesh government regulations.

4. Order Cancellation

  • Order cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

  • Once an order is confirmed or materials are dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.

  • Any costs incurred by Ducon prior to cancellation may be deducted from refundable amounts.

5. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are applicable only in cases of:

    • Incorrect product supplied by Ducon

    • Proven manufacturing defect (verified by Ducon technical team)

  • No refunds will be issued for:

    • Change of mind after purchase

    • Improper storage, handling, or application

    • Site or workmanship-related failures

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method or bank transfer.

6. Return of Products

  • Return requests must be made within [7 / 14] days of delivery.

  • Products must be:

    • Unused

    • Unopened

    • In original packaging and condition

  • Transportation and handling costs for returns may be borne by the customer unless the return is due to Ducon’s error.

7. Non-Refundable Items & Services

The following are non-refundable:

  • Customized or special-order products

  • Products already used, mixed, or applied

  • Service charges, site application, or labor costs

  • Consultancy or technical advisory services

8. Refund Processing Time

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days.

  • Processing time may vary depending on banking or payment channel delays.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Any payment or refund-related disputes should be reported within 7 days of transaction or delivery.

  • Ducon will review the issue and provide a resolution in good faith.

  • Unresolved disputes shall be governed by the laws of Bangladesh.

10. Governing Law

This Payment & Refund Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
