Step 1: Surface Preparation

Assess the existing floor condition and check moisture levels, cracks, and surface flatness. Next, we grind the surface to remove dust.

Step 2: Crack and Defect Repair

All cracks and uneven surfaces are repaired with specialised repair mortar. This step ensures the floor is perfectly flat before the ESD system is applied.

Step 3: Primer Application

A specially formulated conductive primer is applied. This primer starts the ESD system from the concrete level up. It also improves adhesion of the topcoat.

Step 4: Copper Earth Strip Grid

A copper tape grid is embedded into the floor system. This grid connects the entire floor to an earth point.

Step 5: Body Coat Application

The body coat is applied on either Ducrete MF ESD (PU) or Dupoxy SL ESD (epoxy). It is spread evenly to achieve the thickness and surface resistance.

Step 6: ESD Topcoat and Sealer

A conductive sealer or topcoat is applied as the final layer. This layer locks in the ESD properties and makes the surface easy to clean and maintain.
